Tiny Street is a personal project which features five entirely imagined miniature buildings constructed entirely out of mount board and paper. Inspired by British architecture, I meticulously crafted these miniature buildings to showcase the variety of storefronts on the high street. I carefully painted each miniature building with acrylic paint and then textured them with crayon. Outside of the Small Shop I included the addition of a small clay plant pot, which is hung up with pieces of embroidery thread. I made the windows shiny with embossing gloss and protected all buildings with a matt gloss. The smallest building stands at approx 4 inches tall and the tallest stands at approx 6 inches tall.
Tiny Street was originally intended as a larger project to incorporate into my portfolio websites layout.
